PREPARING THE PERFECT CUP

Store your Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee beans in an airtight container at room temperature. Do not store Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee in the refrigerator or freezer, as it will absorb moisture that will harm the delicate flavor of the Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee. Brewing and enjoying rich, flavorful Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee requires investment in a good quality conical burr grinder, a proven coffee brewer and a thermal carafe.
  1. GRIND RIGHT BEFORE BREWING
Use 2 tablespoons of whole bean
Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee for each cup of water. Longer brewing times (drip, vacuum and French press) should be paired with coarser grinds and shorter brewing times (Turkish style coffee) paired with finely ground coffee. Invest in a good quality burr grinder.

Waters such as filtered tap and spring water containing 50 - 100 parts per million of dissolved minerals will produce the best-tasting

Is Blue Mountain Coffee a luxury Brand ?

Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee

I am frequently asked if Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee is really worth the price. The answer for me is certainly a resounding yes. While it is one of the most expensive coffees in the world, it is less expensive than the least expensive cup at Starbucks or Caribou, and infinitely better. A “tall” (8 oz) cup of coffee at Starbucks is about $1.75, a cup of Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is about $1.10, depending on how strongly you brew it. Since you are at this site, I can assume that you are a discerning person, interested in brewing a delicious cup of coffee yourself and won’t miss the barista.

Our other estate, single origin and blended coffees are excellent values in a cup as well, and are suited for a variety of brewing methods and tastes. If you love coffee we are certain that you will find at least one coffee, if not more, among our selection that will delight you. Whether you are drinking Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee, Hawaiian Kona, or one of our other delicious coffees know that Blue Mountain coffee “is man’s most affordable luxury.”
